Kryalos SGR

The building is located in an industrial area of 12.300 sq.m. in the municipality of Castel San Pietro, near the A14 highway. The project involves the construction of a "Shell and Core" Office Building—a two-level commercial building with a total area of approximately 10.000 sq.m. that includes various construction, engineering, and structural works.

The building is constructed with prefabricated structures, L-shaped columns and beams, using prestressed slabs and thermal break cladding panels. The structure has been divided into seven rectangular blocks separated by structural joints to manage seismic movements. The foundations consist of individual pads supported by drilled piles, while the independent external stairs are detached from the main building. The cladding panels are prefabricated concrete with thermal breaks, while the roof features an advanced waterproofing and insulation system, with a fire- and UV-resistant coating. Aluminum thermal break windows and double-glazed glass contribute to improving the building's energy efficiency. The mechanical systems include air conditioning and water treatment for sanitary use, with a fire protection network equipped with hydrants. The electrical systems include an underground supply line, switchboards, and interior and exterior lighting systems. The external areas have been organized, including the construction of an ancillary parking lot.

The building has been designed according to the sustainability standards provided by the BREEAM environmental certification, which guarantees energy efficiency and a reduced environmental impact. This includes the adoption of efficient energy and water management systems, solutions that promote a healthy working environment, and a low environmental impact through the careful selection of materials and eco-compatible construction techniques.
