The project involves the extraordinary maintenance of a production real estate complex located in the southwestern outskirts of the municipality of Vignate (MI), which had been unused.
The intervention area covers approximately 14.000 sq.m. The ground-level building is almost entirely occupied by the warehouse (about 5.500 sq.m.), along with service rooms.
The offices are located in an adjacent block to the warehouse, spanning two floors with a total area of approximately 1.500 sq.m.
The objective of the work was to reactivate this property as a storage and parcel sorting center, particularly for courier activities.
New openings were created on the east and west facades to accommodate loading bays and doors, the building’s exterior was repainted in shades of gray, and the existing asphalt pavements in the external maneuvering areas were redone.
New spaces were built for restrooms and locker rooms for staff, along with a complete overhaul and upgrading of electrical, mechanical, and fire protection systems.
Finally, the battery charging room for forklifts was completely renovated with a resin-coated floor, repainting, and system upgrades.
